Oh, what a wonderful find! Debora is just the best teacher and I know that my language skills have improved immeasurably over the last year since I commenced lessons with Debora. I'd been struggling over the last four years of formal in-class lessons feeling as though I'd learnt heaps; hey, I know all the grammar, but it was just so frustrating still being unable to communicate. So, Debora focuses on "produzione" - writing and speaking, and through conversation of everyday topics, I'm thinking more quickly in Italian. It's through conversation of daily events that I'm sure has changed my absorption of the language. I even now find myself thinking to myself in Italian. Truly, Debora is a wonderful teacher!
Debora is great. Her English is very good and her Italian is perfect. There is a good balance between talking, reading and writing to keep things interesting as well as educational. There is homework but no pressure. We often do the homework at the next lesson when I don't find time between lessons. Debora is very friendly and so helpful. The only problem you will face with Debora is that you will need to keep finding the money to make regular trips to Italy as her love for Italy and the Italian language is so infectious you will need to travel often. I got back 2 months ago and I am already itching to go back.
Debora, is the perfect tutor. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She has taught both myself and my 5 year old son. Managing us in very different ways but getting great results. I believe I have been a real challenge having grown up with the language being present in my daily environment, however never had any corrections along the way. When one can laugh in a language that's progress. Debora and I laugh a lot! I am allergic to grammar in any language, including English, but Debora is super patient, friendly and caring and we get by! After several trips to Italy I became an Italofile and Debora understands my enthusiasm. She is also a Psycholgist and is well aware of the impact of life's dramas.

Debora is a very good tutor and adapts her sessions to the students own level of ability. Debora is very disciplined on pronunciation and when I was in Italy recently people asked if my tutor was Italian as my pronunciation was good. For a novice only starting in March of last year, that was nice to hear. My trip in Italy was enhanced because of Debora's good teaching and focus on what I needed to know. I would recommend Debora to anyone as she adapts her lessons so well to the persons needs, and she is very easy to work with.
Debora is without question the best Italian teacher / tutor I’ve ever had. I am not the quickest of learners, but I was put at ease by Debora’s calming presence. Things were explained at a pace I could understand and I was never made to feel silly about my questions. Outside of class, Debora was highly responsive and communicative, enabling me to progress with my studies throughout the week comfortably. Grazie mille, Debora!

After four years of Italian language tuition, four of us joined Debora for five months of weekly lessons in her home. Debora was bright, friendly and tolerant. She expected more from us than we expected and this expectation gave us confidence to increase the span and scope of our Italian experience. In those few months we learnt more than the Italian language.
Debora was my Italian tutor throughout my senior years of high school, and with her helped I got 98% in my final HSC Exams and can write, read and speak Italian almost fluently. Deborah offered fun, engaging and extremely helpful Italian tutoring and really helped me gain my confidence in the language. I highly recommend Debora for any one interested in learning Italian!
Debora is a great teacher having the perfect amount of encouragement and feedback needed to improve. Since learning italian (1 month ago) I have seen great improvement as I can pick up things that my italian friends say. Debora is very energentic and caring which helps me want to continue learning. I am very happy to speak of my good experience Debora as an Italian tutor. I began just before Xmas. I wanted a boost to practice more spontaneous dialogue. This was great and I enjoyed. Debora is also happy to correct written pieces during g the week.
