My name is Debora, I was born in central Italy.

I graduated in social science in 2006 and I have been always passionate not only about human relations, but also about the wonderful Italian language, my mother tongue, the language so loved by millions of people all over the world.

From an early age I paid attention to my pronunciation and I began to nourish a big interest in correct diction.

During school days, since primary school, Italian subject and literature has always been my absolute favorite subject and I have always loved and report excellent grades, including in grammar. 

In 2006, after graduating, I travelled to have a life experience in Australia, where for a year I worked as an italian teacher both in primary school as well as in various colleges and private schools for adults.

During this work experience, I discovered my great passion for Italian teaching.

After further training, I decided to found "La Dolce Lingua Italiana", a school that with dedication and patience, helps infuse love for the Italian language to foreigners. 

I am convinced that in a relaxed environment, where no one feels judged and at ease, being respected and motivated in their way of learning, everyone can learn, at any age. I still fondly remember my first individual student, Val, who at the age of 75, decided to contact me for Italian lessons despite having never studied it before. That lady so motivated and determined to learn, instilled in me even more the conviction that no one can say that learning a new language is too late. Surprisingly after just over a year, Val and I had meaningful conversations only in Italian. It has been 12 years since then and I have had the privilege of accompanying hundreds of people on this journey. As I have been saying since the first lesson, it can be long and sometimes difficult, but the journey is worth all the effort!

My name is Elise and I am Italian, more specifically from Florence,

I am back in Italy after having spent the last 8 years of my life in Australia, where I perfected my English. There I also started my journey as an Italian teacher. 

I have more than 5 years experience teaching Italian both in person and online. I enjoy one on one or small group lessons with people all ages.

I have experience with all levels, beginners starting from scratch, as well as teenagers preparing for exams and adults wanting to practise their conversation skills. 

I like to be patient and there is no pressure in learning fast as everyone has their own ways and times to learn. You want to enjoy the process!

I pay attention to grammar but also try and make the lesson fun and interactive.

I am ready to motivate you and am flexible in meeting your needs.

My name is Asia and I am Italian.

I studied art and architecture and after graduation I lived in Australia for one year. Around the world I met lots of people from different cultures and ages who wanted to learn Italian so I discovered how much I love teaching it! I'm cheerful, loving and patient. 

I like to travel, cook, sing and draw. 

I think that everybody need to feel confortable and understood in their unique process of learning. I love to teach especially to children and teenagers being warm and playful, through games, music and art. I also had many students to prepare their HSC with great success!

A different language can be a barrier that don't let express yourself with others, but it is a barrier that can be broken!
